Flag of United States
Has this been a long election cycle or what? I am so proud of all Americans who went out and voted this past Tuesday. It was a rainy gloomy day in my neighborhood but that didn't stop people from voting. I dream of a day when the lines are so long you wish you had one of those Disney fast passes.
My Mother emphasized to my brother Patrick and I when we kids that once we could vote, we better. If she were alive she would have been there voting at the local fire house in New Jersey. In fact the last time she voted was in 2012 and despite being riddled with cancer she found a way.
Not happy with the results and you didn't vote. Remember there is a reason for the cliche, every vote counts. Tonight on America Tonight, a wrap up of the demographics. Who voted, who didn't and why.

The Cubs finally get the GOAT off their back. Who wasn't watching as the Cubs knocked of the Indians 8-7 in 10 innings? What a game, TV ratings exploded with a 25.2 rating among households on Fox. Congrats to Chicago and a tip of the cap to Cleveland.

Influential Listening. Are the candidates paying attention? PDF Print E-mail

As a keynote speaker passionate about spreading the power of what I call Influential Listening; it's obvious no one is listening this Presidential election year. Certainly we've heard less about the issues as the debates have turned into rock 'em sock 'em robots. Every recap is more about who landed the best verbal jabs than who was clear.

We'll see what happens in this next debate as both candidates for President have one last shot at clearly, confidently and concisely letting us know where they stand. I'll be listening for specific plans on immigration, health care, foreign policy and a plethora of other challenges facing the nation. Guests this week included body language expert Traci Brown and Justin Duckem live from the debate.
