On the evening of April 16th, a middle-aged, wheelchair-bound man attacked a woman out of the blue in Queens. The incident took place on the northbound E train platform at 71st Ave. and Queens Blvd. in Forest Hills, reports New York Daily News.

The perpetrator was identified as Daniel Arquette, a 57-year-old homeless man. He was seen acting anxiously and erratically, wheeling down the platform. The woman, who was waiting for a train and did not engage in any sort of interaction with Arquette, suddenly felt a sharp pain in her back when he passed by.

She then reached back to inspect and discovered a bleeding puncture wound.

Police quickly arrested Daniel Arquette, not pictured, at the scene and charged him with felony assault. His motives are unclear at this point, but it is possible that he was under the influence.

The victim was treated at Jamaica Hospital, and her life is not in danger.
