Ashley ‘Ms.Minnie’ Ross, one of the main stars of Little Women Atlanta, died on April 27th following a horrific hit-and-run accident. She was 34 years old.
The tragedy happened around 11 p.m. on April 26th in Atlanta, Georgia, Daily Mail reports. Ross was behind the wheel when the hit-and-run occurred. She was seriously injured and transferred to The Grady Memorial Hospital where she died 24 hours later.
It is currently unknown what caused the crash, or if there were any other victims.
Liz Dixson, a publicist for Ms. Minnie, used her late client’s Instagram account to address the devastating news:
“It is with profound sadness that we confirm on behalf of the family of Ashley Ross aka ‘Ms. Minnie’ of ‘Little Women: Atlanta’ has succumbed to injuries from a tragic hit and run car accident today at the age of 34. The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.”
Ms. Minnie gained her fame back in 2016 after joining Little Women Atlanta, a reality series on Lifetime that followed the lives of women with dwarfism. She became one of the most beloved TV personalities and remained in the show through all five seasons.
