At least one person is hurt after the shooting West Boston Avenue in Youngstown, Ohio. First responders arrived at the scene around 2 p.m. on March, 20. Victim, whose identity is unknown, had sustained a gunshot wound in the arm and was treated for it. The shooter supposedly fled the scene.
The police officers interviewed witnesses, checked the block and the nearby buildings, including a vacant house, but, according to the witnesses, didn’t seem to find anything.
The Youngstown City Police Department has not released an official statement yet.
Earlier that week on March 19 another shooting took place in Youngstown, with one 19-years-old man found dead in a minivan, and another severely injured. This incident took place on Quincy Avenue around 11 p.m. The surviving victim is hospitalized, and the police are currently investigating the incident.
