The UK health authorities are planning to use a new test that identifies cancers at an early stage. In the UK the testing for cancers is quite well entrenched. However, it still falls behind the rest of Europe. The earlier it is diagnosed the better the length of survival from it and the earlier the treatment for it. A Californian company is responsible for developing the test. It has some pretty heavyweight backing of some well-known billionaires. However, not all are sure that trials should start this early on. This is because they claim that trials for some cancers have involved very few people. A lot more people require to be involved in the trials test efficacy said a leading professor in the field. Either way, it is good that we are using science and technology now available to us in such ways to help people significantly.
